This antique campaign chest is also a blanket box or blanket chest. Useful for a coffee or low table as all four sides are finished.
With tapered sides and a plinth, this unusual 18th century chest is of good natural colour, patina and character. It is an 18th century chest so it does have an old surface and scars commensurate with it’s age. It is almost an item of folk art.
