Description
An 18th Century mahogany chest of drawers of pleasing small proportions, good colour and character. The figured top has a small half round moulding around the edge with a brushing slide beneath it. Of good quality having four figured long graduated drawers. Each is finished with cock beading around the edges. The drawer sides, backs and bottoms are oak and glide smoothly. The locks, escutcheons and feet are original. The brass handles are 18th Century of good colour and top quality. The chest has had a good life, been well looked after and is in good condition, commensurate with its age and use.
